Remember valid ID: Valid ID with photo is required to enter the examination. See all requirements
Location: Tests are held in Odense, Aabenraa og Esbjerg.
Special conditions: You have the option of taking the test under special conditions. You must contact the test manager at Fyn Jytte Glerup jygl@aofjobogdansk.dk or probation officer in South Jutland Maj-Britt Børgesen mnb@aofjobogdansk.dk

What is the Citizenship Exam?
The citizenship exam is a requirement in order to obtain Danish citizenship. The exam tests whether you have sufficient knowledge of Danish social conditions, Danish culture and history.
The exam is held twice a year. You can see when the next 2 Citizenship exams will be held under “dates”.
What does the exam consist of?
The Citizenship exam lasts 45 minutes and consists of 45 questions. 35 of the questions are based on the study material – you can find the study material right here..
In addition, the exam consists of 10 unprepared questions. Comprising, 5 of the questions are current, which means that they are based on events that have taken place in the past 6 months (prior to the exam). The remaining 5 questions are revolved around Danish values.
The exam is a multiple-choice, which means there will be several different answer-options for each question. You must therefore cross off the answer you think is correct.
